Released as a hardback in 1966, this is one of many covers or guises for the story The Crusade. The novel remians the same in all editions, it is just the cover that changes. The rights to this book, along with those for 'The Daleks' and 'The Zarbi' were bought by Universal Tandem publishing in the 1970s to launch their Doctor Who Target book range.
