Doctor Who's overnight ratings continue their downward trend - although they still remain good overall in comparison to other shows. Yesterday's broadcast of 'The Crimson Horror' on BBC1 achieved an audience of 4.61 million or 25.2% of the audience. Final figures will be due in just over a week. It should be remembered that Doctor Who performs consistently well in both time shift adjusted numbers and viewing via other platforms such as iPlayer downloads.
