'Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS' Overnight Ratings

The overnight ratings for yesterday's episode on BBC1 were 4.9 million, or 26.7% of the audience. Doctor Who was third for the day once again. Time shift figures will be available next week.

Although the actual numbers are down they need to be viewed in context - Doctor Who was only beaten by 'Britain's Got Talent' and 'The Voice' - two very popular reality shows. The audience share was a good one and is an increase on last week. Doctor Who continues to add large numbers when delayed viewing is taken into account and remains at the very top of iPlayer viewing results.
