Bernard Horsfall passes away
We are very sad to report the death of actor Bernard Horsfall who died today at the age of 82.
Bernard appeared in Doctor Who on a number of occasions. His first appearance was in the Patrick Troughton story 'The Mind Robber' where he played fictional traveller Lemuel Gulliver. He returned in Troughton's last story 'The War Games' to play a Time Lord in the adventure that first introduced the Doctor's home race. A few years later he played Taron in the Pertwee adventure 'Planet of the Daleks'. His final appearance, and arguably his most memorable, was as Chancellor Goth in the Tom Baker story 'Deadly Assassin'.
Bernard was a good friend to the DWAS and it's members. Our thoughts and best wishes go out to his family and friends.
He will be sadly missed.
