Synopsis

By 2006 when this article was published, Ray was well known to most fans and his contribution to Doctor Who widely appreciated. However this recognition has rarely gone beyond serious Doctor Who fandom. In this very open interview Ray discusses how he came to be a designer, shares what were, at the time, some new memories about working on Doctor Who in the 1960s, and his views on the series and TV today (2005/6)
