Synopsis

Peter Moffat (1922 to 2007) was a regular director on Doctor Who during the era produced by John Nathan-Turner from 1980 to 1989. In 1983 he directed the 20th Anniversary special 'The Five Doctors'. To tie in with this, DWAS published, with the agreement and cooperation of the BBC Production Office, a large format commemorative booklet called 'The Making of the Five Doctors'. This contained a number of interviews and articles about individual aspects of the production. We present here from that special publication, the interview undertaken with Peter Moffat about directing 'The Five Doctors'.
