CT450 Guest Editor: Alan Stevens
Hi everyone,
Yes, I'm back again. This time guest-editing Celestial Toyroom issue 450.
We've got a great feature by James Cooray Smith on how the 1979 ITV strike affected Doctor Who ratings, with comparative reference to the show's performance in regard to other programming of the time. Also Phil Stevens tells us how to build a full-size TV Century 21 Emperor Dalek, while Dale Smith explains how Cosmic Masque transformed him into a professional writer.
Then we have Cliff Chapman talking to Nick Scovell and Gareth Kavanagh about how to put together a successful Doctor Who stage play, and finally, Fiona Moore and myself take a look at the "Greatest Show in the Galaxy," and provide some answers as to how best to revive a flagging series.
Read this and you could become the next Doctor Who showrunner!
Kind regards
Alan Stevens
