'Robot of Sherwood' Overnight Ratings

It is very much a case of 'no change' in the overnight numbers for the UK.

The audience for 'Robot of Sherwood' on BBC1 Saturday 30th August 2014, was 5.2 million viewers or 25.4% of the audience. The actuals numbers are unchanged from last week, and the audience share is slightly higher (up from 24.7%). Doctor Who was again the most popular programme on BBC1 and the second most popular programme in the UK yesterday, with 'The X Factor' taking the number 1 spot.

Consolidated figures for this story are likely to be released in about a week, with those for 'Into the Dalek' due in the next couple of days. These will be more indicative of the new series popularity and as stated previously, are probably the most important result for the BBC as a public service broadcaster.
