'Deep Breath' Consolidated Ratings
Paul Winter (Co-ordinator) on September 1st, 2014
The consolidated ratings for 'Deep Breath' on BBC1 23rd August 2014, which include 'time shift' viewing, show that the programme added a large number of additional viewers to the initial 6.8 million, to bring the total to 9.2 million. This makes Doctor Who the second most popular programme of the week.
The added viewers - some 2.4 million, are an excellent result and clearly show that Doctor Who is a programme that is anticipated and planned for by a large chunk of the TV watching population. As iPlayer figures are added the numbers reached by the episode should go even higher.
Consolidated results for 'Into the Dalek' should be available next week.
