Synopsis

This tribute to David Whitaker was the first of many themed events that Doctor Who fandom has seen. David's scripts include The Crusade (1965), The Power of the Daleks (1966) and The Evil of the Daleks (1967), The Enemy of the World (1967/8) and The Wheel in Space (1968, from a story by Kit Pedler) are highly regarded by fans and were no doubt remembered here. How great to see The Rescue and Beyond the Sun from Series 1! A treat indeed... (given that video and DVD in the commercial world were still 3 years off).
